New Low Ropes Course Launched |
|
State Member for Morayfield Mark Ryan MP and Camp Chairman Brian Stringer (pictured left) were recently on site to officially open the Camp's new sequenced low challenges rope course. Mr Ryan said, "to have such a well resourced recreational venue catering to schools, community or social groups and organisations, set in such an idyllic location is a real asset for south east Queensland.
Seeing the recovery from flooding and the new facilities being offered shows how hard the Lions Club and Camp Duckadang teams have worked to get back to normal. Well done to all involved."
The sequenced low challenges rope course has over 18 elements throughout the course from a swinging log, two line bridge, Heebie Jeebie ropes (the name says it all!) through to swinging tyres and bosuns chairs. With so many challenges the low ropes course is sure to be a popular addition for all ages to the camp's many facilities in 2012.
We look forward to seeing you all here soon! |
